The Rust team has worked hard on the new Rust Console Edition, and fans are now happy to announce the first official release candidate! This new release of Rust contains no major gameplay changes, but the release does bring several improvements that will help make your RCE-based servers more stable, secure, and performant. This article outlines some of the key features in this update and additional resources to start to playing Rust Console. Rust’s Console Edition takes the original game and adds many new features, some of which you might call improvements over the original.
Overview of RUST console:
RUST console is an officially supported version of RUST that only includes features that are compatible with consoles. The official RUST console version will not be available on Steam or any other PC platform. But it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PS Vita. There is no current rust console release date for these versions at this time. Please note that if you currently play RUST on Steam, there are no plans to bring the console edition to Steam at any point in the future. So please do not purchase it thinking will add it later because it won’t be! You can continue to play rust game on Steam while playing the Rust console if you choose to do so.
You need two separate accounts. We don’t have any information about whether we will allow cross-play between Rust console and Rust Legacy (PC) servers. Still, we may implement that feature in a future update once we know more about how it works in practice with our game server architecture. Everything about the Rust console is identical to how it works now on PC. Still, since Rust Legacy does not support mods, some content is missing from those servers like jetpacks, throwable items like grenades, weapons, etc., but nothing critical gameplay-wise should be missing from those servers.
The basics of the RUST console:
Rust is a modern survival video game with crafting, exploration, building, and fighting elements. You must gather resources for crafting tools, weapons, structures, and vehicles. For example, a sharp stone can craft into an axe to clear the underbrush into shards that can craft into arrows. Raw wood from trees can be harvested for wooden planks used to build structures like houses or barricades. Rust’s official website has a full list of rust console commands that will help you get started in-game.
To use rust console commands, you need to open up your steam library, right-click on Rust, go to properties, set launch options, and type in console without quotes. That should enable your rust console. When you launch Rust, it should bring up a black screen with white text on top saying Rust Server. There are many different things you can do here but first. Let’s start by introducing yourself using the rust PlayStation command: Type/rust PlayStation introduction without quotes where is your character name. This command will introduce yourself as if playing Playstation online multiplayer, so others know who they are dealing with.
Gameplay in RUST console:
The gameplay in the RUST console is identical to that of regular RUST. The biggest change is that players will now spawn on an oil rig located approximately 500m above sea level. This means that, unlike in standard rust double 11, players who fall off of buildings and such will not immediately die. Rather, they’ll live long enough to get back up (assuming they don’t hit water or land directly on a player-built structure). So be careful when building near tall cliffs; your enemies may have a chance to recover after falling them. Also, it’s worth noting that there are no longer any natural resources at all on these oil rigs. Everything must be built by hand.
But as you can see from our screenshots below, plenty of resources are available for doing so. The new update also adds two new vehicles: a helicopter and a boat. While both add before today’s update, they had some bugs preventing them from use properly. Those bugs have been fixed, and they’ve included some shots below showing how each vehicle works now. As you can see from these images, both vehicles use different types of fuel: Helicopters use diesel fuel while boats run on gasoline.
Map, location, and finding items in the RUST Console:
Rust console edition is now available for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Now that Rust has officially launched on consoles, console players who own RUST will receive a slew of new features to explore. One of those features is one that RUST gamers on PC have been enjoying for quite some time. Rust console commands use to spawn items in Rust and can access using certain commands. These commands enter into your in-game chat box or use as part of your server’s command line parameters. The following guide provides you with all these commands and how they work so you can spawn items, create maps, and much more in Rust! In addition, there’s also info about the Rust PlayStation update.
There are many different console commands in Rust, which allow you to modify various aspects of gameplay. Such as spawning items, creating maps, and even changing weather conditions. Many of these commands have unique syntaxes along with examples of each command used. If you want to try out any of these console commands yourself. Open up your game’s developer console (pressing F3 usually does) and enter any relevant text after typing help without quotes. This should display all available Rust console commands and a brief description for each one.
Is Rust console Cancelled?
In an earlier announcement, it mentioned that team would be working on a console version of Rust alongside PC/Mac. Well, there has been a slight change of plans since then. Instead of making two separate games, we’re instead just updating one single game. It will still work on Rust for consoles, but instead of making two versions of Rust—PC/Mac and console. It makes a single Rust that supports multiple platforms. This way, everyone can play together. And if you own a particular platform with a Rust console update ready for release.
You don’t have to wait for everyone else before playing—you can all start playing together at once! It also means that updates are much easier to make: instead of creating a new game every time we make an update. When it works there, it works everywhere! It also means fewer bugs as well as less waiting around for updates. It also means more frequent updates in general as they won’t require us to do anything special when releasing them.
